Announced during BlizzConline 2021, the Burning Crusade expansion is coming to World of Warcraft Classic, and its beta phase is already receiving some lucky players since last March 23rd!

In our interview with Blizzard during BlizzCon 2021, we had already learned that Blizzard would like to adapt the drums for leather processing in WoW: Burning Crusade Classic. The aim should be that the drums remain an important unique selling point of the profession, but that 20 out of 25 raid enthusiasts do not feel compelled to embark on the career of leather processing in order to get the powerful tempo buff during a fight around keep the watch active.

In fact, right now we can all see how the client has added the "The Burning Crusade Classic" tab, from which the testers have been able to download it. But they have even gone further, as they have managed to install it and access its home screen.

And starting from the hotfixes published on TBC during the night, we see that among the various problems solved there is also one focused on the incorrect amount of experience previously gained by the players. In addition to this, a bug has also been fixed whereby there was a reduction in the damage of the armor that was not in accordance with the intentions of the developers.

If you already played the WoW Classic before this expansion, you can choose whether to keep your characters in the base game, or import them into the new expansion, which will be available free of charge to all WoW subscribers with an active monthly fee.

The following new recipes have been discovered so far:

•     Pattern: Great Drums of War: Increases attack power by 60 and spell damage by 30 for party members within 40 yards. Lasts 30 seconds. 2 minute cooldown. (requires 375 leatherworking, 50 charges)
•     Pattern: Great Drums of Tempo: Increases movement speed by 15 percent for group members within 40 meters. Lasts for 30 seconds. 2 minute cooldown. (requires 375 leatherworking, 50 charges)
•     Pattern: Great Drums of Restoration: Restores 600 health and mana over 15 seconds to party members within 40 yards. 2 minute cooldown. (requires 375 leatherworking, 50 charges)
•     Pattern: Great Drums of Panic: Subterranean tremors cause up to five enemies within 8 meters to flee for two seconds. 2 minute cooldown. (requires 375 leatherworking, 50 charges)
•     Pattern: Great Drums of Battle: Increases melee, ranged, and spellcasting speed by 80 for party members within 40 yards. Lasts 30 seconds. 2 minute cooldown. (requires 375 leatherworking, 50 charges)

A limited beta start for Burning Crusade Classic
Those lucky enough to obtain a key can now enter the Dark Portal and explore Outland. However, the full functionality of the extension is not yet available. For now, progression can only be done up to level 64, PvP is not yet operational and third-party add-ons cannot be activated. But Blizzard has confirmed that this limitation should jump very soon.
